The Position

As our Operational Excellence Project Manager, you will help build and scale the operational backbone of Marie-Stella-Maris. You identify what matters most, prioritise based on impact, and turn bottlenecks into simple, scalable ways of working.

This role is not about polishing corporate processes, it’s about creating clarity, building structure where needed and improving as we grow. You work hands-on, in short learning cycles, and always in close partnership with the CEO and senior leadership to identify bottlenecks, simplify complexity, and ensure the organisation is set up for sustainable, scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Prioritisation & Alignment

• Co-lead the bi-annual prioritisation cycle with senior leadership to identify bottlenecks for growth.

• Translate strategic priorities into practical operational roadmaps and clear implementation plans.

• Act as a cross-functional facilitator to ensure ownership, alignment and execution speed.

End-to-End Process Management

• Analyse and map processes across Retail, E-commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Fulfilment, Customer Service and Back-office.

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and risks and design a scalable, future-proof operational blueprint.

• Define clear process flows, responsibilities, standards and handovers.

Project Management

• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on simplifying processes and removing roadblocks.

• Support leaders and teams in adopting new ways of working, tools and data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure improvements land smoothly and are experienced as supportive rather than directive.

Customer Journey Excellence

• Ensure operational improvements strengthen the full end-to-end customer experience.

• Align retail, e-commerce and supply chain flows to deliver one seamless, premium brand experience.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Define key KPIs and build simple reporting mechanisms to track impact and progress.

• Use data and insights to continuously optimise performance and prioritise improvements.

And Who Bring…

• A background in a high-growth retail or product-driven commercial environment (This is a MUST!)

• 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Business Operations, Continuous Improvement, Project Management or a related area.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.

• A track record of building scalable processes — not only optimising existing ones.

• Experience working with data to inform decisions and prioritise improvements.
