De functie

Marie Stella Maris groeit hard! De komende jaren openen we meer verkooppunten en versterken we onze online aanwezigheid in binnen- en buitenland. Onze ambities zijn groot – en om deze groei mogelijk te maken zoeken wij een Senior Buyer die ons inkoopteam komt versterken..

In deze rol speel je een strategische sleutelpositie in het verwezenlijken van onze bedrijfsdoelen. Samen met de inkoopdirecteur vertaal je korte- en langetermijnstrategieën naar concrete acties. Je werkt nauw samen met partners om processen te optimaliseren en samenwerkingen uit te bouwen. Jouw focus: beschikbaarheid, schaalbaarheid, kwaliteit en kostenefficiëntie – zodat wij kunnen blijven groeien zonder concessies te doen aan onze standaarden.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Senior Buyer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop van componenten, verpakkingen en eindproducten die naadloos aansluiten bij onze merkwaarden: kwaliteit, schaalbaarheid en duurzaamheid. Je werkt samen met betrouwbare full-service partners in binnen- en buitenland en hebt directe impact op zowel onze supply chain als productontwikkeling.

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

· Leveranciersmanagement Je onderhoudt relaties met bestaande leveranciers en ontwikkelt nieuwe partnerschappen. Met jouw onderhandelingsvaardigheden zorg je voor de beste deal op kwaliteit, schaalbaarheid, beschikbaarheid en commercie.

· COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) Je brengt efficiëntie in het hele proces – van sourcing tot levering – en schakelt hierin snel en effectief

· Cross-functionele samenwerking Je werkt dagelijks samen met Innovatie en Supply Chain om alles soepel te laten verlopen. Ook bij verstoringen in de keten weet je snel en doelgericht in te grijpen..

· Blik op de toekomst Je volgt markttrends, nieuwe technologieën en duurzame verpakkingsoplossingen, en vertaalt deze naar concrete voorstellen voor onze productontwikkeling

· Administratie & structuur Je zorgt dat alle inkoopdata, contracten en KPI’s accuraat en up-to-date zijn..

Jouw profiel

· Een hbo- of wo-diploma, bij voorkeur in Supply Chain, Commerciële Economie of Bedrijfskunde.

· NEVI 1 of 1+2 (of vergelijkbare inkoopopleiding).

· Minimaal 4 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen cosmetica of een verwante sector.

· Ervaring met leveranciersselectie, onderhandelingen en supply chain-processen.

· Je bent data-driven, werkt met gemak in ERP-systemen en houdt overzicht.

· Je hebt een scherp oog voor kwaliteit én duurzaamheid.

· Je communiceert helder in zowel Nederlands als Engels.

Marie Stella Maris is growing rapidly! In the coming years, we will be opening more retail locations and strengthening our online presence both nationally and internationally. Our ambitions are high – and to make this growth possible, we are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our procurement team.

In this role, you will play a strategic key position in achieving our business goals. Together with the Procurement Director, you will translate short- and long-term strategies into concrete actions. You will work closely with partners to optimize processes and strengthen collaborations. Your focus: availability, scalability, quality, and cost efficiency – enabling us to continue growing without compromising our standards.

At Marie Stella Maris, you will collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Innovation, where creativity and entrepreneurship are essential to keep up with the pace of our company. The coming years will present numerous opportunities and challenging projects to further develop your procurement expertise and skills.

What will you do?

As Senior Buyer, you are responsible for sourcing components, packaging, and finished products that align seamlessly with our brand values: quality, scalability, and sustainability. You will work with reliable full-service partners both domestically and internationally, having a direct impact on both our supply chain and product development.

Your main responsibilities:

· Supplier Management Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new partnerships. With your negotiation skills, you ensure the best deal in terms of quality, scalability, availability, and commercial value.

· COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) Drive efficiency across the entire process – from sourcing to delivery – acting quickly and effectively.

· Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Innovation and Supply Chain on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations. Even when disruptions occur, you intervene swiftly and effectively.

· Future Outlook Stay on top of market trends, new technologies, and sustainable packaging solutions, translating them into actionable proposals for product development.

· Administration & Structure Ensure all procurement data, contracts, and KPIs are accurate and up-to-date.

Success in this role means…

· Suppliers deliver reliably and safeguard quality.

· Sustainability standards are consistently upheld.

· The supply chain functions efficiently (in collaboration with the Supply Chain team).

What do you bring?

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Economics, or Business Administration.

· At least 4 years of relevant work experience within FMCG, cosmetics, or a related sector.

· Experience with supplier selection, negotiations, and supply chain processes.

· Data-driven, comfortable working in ERP systems, and maintaining oversight.

· A sharp eye for both quality and sustainability.

· Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
