We are seeking an IT Operations Specialist at Marie-Stella-Maris, a job in which you will ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate with external IT partners, oversee IT service delivery, and ensure the security and performance of our IT environment. This role is integral to supporting both the business and technical teams in achieving their objectives by maintaining a reliable IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

       Daily IT Operations Management:

• Oversee and ensure the optimal functioning of all IT systems, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user devices.

• Manage user support requests, including remote support for other office locations.

• Ensure the smooth running of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, managing uptime, and system performance.
  
  Collaboration with IT Service Partners:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT service providers and manage relationships to maintain the operational excellence of services.

• Work with partners to manage services such as SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, G Suite) and cloud providers.
  
  Onboarding & Offboarding:

• Facilitate the IT onboarding process for new employees, including provisioning of hardware, software, and user accounts.

• Manage IT offboarding processes, ensuring access is properly revoked, and assets are returned.
  
  Security & Asset Management:

• Implement and monitor IT security measures to safeguard company data and infrastructure.

• Maintain the asset management system, ensuring accurate tracking of hardware and software across the organization.

• Manage antivirus, firewalls, and other security tools to ensure protection against potential threats.

• Manage the DNS and domain settings infrastructure

You have

• Experience in IT operations or similar roles;

• A degree in IT, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience); Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS platforms. Experience and knowlede of Marie-Stella-Maris’s IT stack is a plus. This comprises of the following SaaS systems: Okta, Microsoft Office 365, Box.com, Exact Online, PowerBI, Monday.com, Salesforce (Salescloud), Shopify and Personio.

• Experience with user management and security protocols;

• Familiarity with both Apple and Microsoft computing environments;

• A valid ‘Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag’ VOG is essential at job start;

• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
